What's new on the site
Search by shelfmark. Type «ф. 1781 оп. 26 д. 1181» or just “1781-26-1181” and the file comes first in the suggestions and the results. If the catalogue does not have that file, the site shows its inventory or fond.
Given names in all their forms. A search for «Иосиф» also finds «Осипа», «Язэпа» and «Józefa»: over 100 groups of names in their Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Latin and Lithuanian forms. The form found is highlighted in the title.
FamilySearch microfilms. 774 files now show their FamilySearch film with a link to the file's first frame. The information comes from open sources.
